Holiday Dresses at Madewell 1937

J.Crews newly launched off-shoot Madewell 1937 has opened a temporary store in SOHO. I went for the first time today and they had some adorable 100% silk dresses, blouses and skirts that would be perfect for the holidays. What I like about these pieces is they can be dressed up for fancier occasions. I think they would look amazing with the lace tights I posted about earlier in the month. Or they can be paired more casual pieces like in the photos.

Modernization of the Cowboy Boot

The cowboy boot is back again. This time with a more modern twist. These styles by Frey (Sunny Short Pleat Boot) and Miss Sixty (Ester Boot) show the evolution of the western boot. They have more sleek finishes, shape and texture but definitely the unmistakable toe of a cowboy boot. Available at Habitat Shoes.

Project Runway for Bitten

I don't know if you guys caught Project Runway last night but the design challenge was for Sarah Jessica Parkers line Bitten. Victorya, the winner, designed the cutest two piece outfit and it will be in the Bitten Fall/Winter 08 collection. I can't wait!
