Plaid Inspiration

I was just in a great vintage clothing store in Manhattan and they had a large rack of wool plaid skirts. I bought a couple of plaid items last year but didn't get as much wear as I had hoped out of them. Here are some items that have lately re-inspired me. Shiny Leggings - Hot or Not?

So I have been seeing these Shiny leggings in stores lately....but I cannot figure out how people actually successfully wear these? Everything I would have previously paired cotton legging with...say sweater dresses, don't seem to go with these Jane Fonda-esk legs. Who has a suggestion of how these can be worn without looking like you are going to Jazzercise class? Leggings shown from American Apparel.

Wren Clothing

Wren clothing was recently featured at the GenArt's fashion show in Los Angeles. The soft, yet edgy looks are a great inpiration for what's coming this Spring. Although the line is still relatively un-discovered and hard to come by, it is currently available at Opening Ceremony in both New York and Los Angeles.

Alexis Bittar Jewelry

On my recent vacation in California I spent an afternoon walking on the beach and visited the redwood forest near the Russian River Valley.
