Chocolate Chip Pie

Today I decided to try my hand at making a chocolate chip pie. I've made other pies in the past, but I'm not exactly the biggest fan of eating pies. This one, however, was pretty yummy. It basically tasted like a big, gooey chocolate chip cookie. I used an unbaked deep dish pie crust and then filled it with a mixture of granulated sugar, brown sugar, chocolate chips, butter, eggs, and flour. I baked the pie for about an hour. Though it was good, I would have to try making this one a few more times to officially determine whether it would go in my baking journal (see blog entry for 01/19/2010).
